My ride is not exotic by any means. Nor do I want to beef up $10000 in audio. The JVC deck that someone else installed is dismal. I have seen decks today that have USB ports and some even have integrated Bluetooth so you can talk through the radio handsfree and legal in California.

Any advise on what deck works for you?

    Hi

It not the easiest thing to do with a new audio system for car and is dependent on what audio system and what car? What car and what audio system do you have in case someone here has installed an Audio system in that make of car?

Best IMHO to pay for a professional to install.

Can you imagine that we've made our way from something like this

in so short an amount of time?

I have only ever bought Clarion units, but only because they seem to be the first to have the new technology priced in the right area when I am looking. I like Rockford Fosgate and all the others as well though. I don't think you can go wrong anymore with even a JVC or Pioneer from WalMart.

yeah man, its pretty amazing how fast tech advances.
walmart really doesnt have bad electronics. jvc and pioneer imo are very good brands. given you might not see a system from walmart in an audio competition, but realistically you definitely cant go wrong. never have to spend hundreds to have a cd player in your car.
