car jacked GPS

With all the GPS gadgets out there, is there one(I find many, but lack of reviews means I dont know what to buy)
that I can have in my car, so I can access the GPS if
-the car gets stolen
-so I can analyze my driving and see how I reduce the real time I am in the car

I dont mean a a GPS used to find streets, etc, I mean a car jacked type gps

I was thinking about the Tracking Key
any thoughts?

While it will track your travel, it wouldn't help you find your stolen car as it requires a USB connection to a PC to view the data and I doubt would be thieves would plug it in to one for your benefit.

now I want one to track someone elses car, so they dont know its in the car...(thus, I can't install it nor have access to it daily)

 

If I'm not mistaken, what you're thinking of doing is illegal. The FBI or NSA tried that on someones car and got caught.
