card reader... help please? =D

hey guys... i think this is the right section of forums...

i have windows xp and my laptop is an advent 7109B ( if that helps in any way)
my 4 in 1 card reader isnt reading ANY of my memmory sticks / cards. do i need to re install a driver or somthin?

some one told me to do the following :
Controll panel --> System --> Hardware --> Divice maneger.

there are a few " yellow " ones but when i try to update / install the driver(s) needed, i get a message saying that it cant find the opropriate software. HELP PLX rolleyes

BTW if any 1 knows where i CAN find the opropriate software let me know

Yes, you may need a driver. You didn't mention which version of Windows you have, so use this link for WinXP drivers, and use this link for Vista drivers. They are zipped files.... if you need help with using zip files, let us know....

haha thanks, will do. been at it for a few days now LOL. Best way to learn is to do it yourself... but i guess every1 needs help sometimes! thx again
