    Hello to everyone, new member, first post.

    For the last few days I have been plagued by a problem, whilst using the net I get a warning from Zonealarm informing me that 'xxxx.dat' is trying to access the net, at the same time a link is placed on my desktop for 'casinopalazzo', I delete the offending items but they return each time I use the net, each time the dat file has a different prefix: asef.dat, dfty.dat etc, etc.
    I have used AdAware, Spybot S&D, AVG 6.0 and CWShredder all to no avail!
    Can anyone help, this problem is driving me up the wall!

    First just check Add/Remove programs to see if you can find anything there about this program. If so, uninstall it.

    Otherwise, please follow all the steps in this Sticky thread < READ ME FIRST: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal >

    Since you already said you have some of the programs linked in the tutorial please double check your version to make sure you have the latest one and that you have any/all updates for the programs. Check by clicking on the links and comparing to what you have.

    NOTE: In order to resolve the issues you are having it is very important that you at least try to perform all the steps as outlined. If you have any difficulty please post back letting us know what steps you have completed, what you found while doing the scans if anything and details about any problems you have encountered in completing the steps. The more details you can provide the better.
