Cat went frogging

My oldest daughter (17) has a fish bowl, you know one those 2-gal bowls made of glass that look like a candy jar. Anyway she put three frogs and some small fish in it, that she netted in the river by the house.

Well the cat went fishing in the bowl, this morning, and killed two of the frogs. Now she's walking around the house complaining about "that friggin' psycho-b****, killed my frogs," her words not mine. Her cat, too.

Teenagers got to love them.

 

Darn! I mistook "Frogging" for "Fragging." That was a disappointment. I thought I would see your cat online sometime playin Call of Duty or something.

 

Now that would be fun to watch, the cat playing Call of Duty or UT.

 

my cat used to bring live birds into the house, that was fun... catching them later on...

 

Every time she see's the cat it's "you friggin' cat, you killed my frogs!" Oh, well, she'll get over it.

 

Can I borrow her "friggin cat"? My daughter has two hamsters that she has come to forget about. Now my hamsters...

Her's is more into fish, my wife's on the other hand, catches mice all the time. Problem is he plays with them.

Better watch her Shadow, if she keeps hanging around the river collecting stuff she might want to become an Aquatic Biologist.

This is the daughter who wants to join the Air Force and become a bomber pilot.

 

Sounds like she is serious about it. You don't have long to change her mind.

Actually, I have a friend that is a retired Colonel and he helps take care of his aunt, taking her to the store, doctor, and such. Come to find out, she joined the Marines during WWII and served just the regular duty I guess.

Anyway, she gets all sorts of benefits. I don't think she realized what all she qualified for until the Colonel moved back home and helped her.

Your daughter may have the right idea, she knows from your experience what to expect.

Good luck to her no matter what she decides, at least she's thinking.

She wants to attend the Air Force Academy, SAT scores are a little low but still competitive; 1550 on the new test, she needs 1600 to have a good shot at it. Good scores for a ROTC scholarship, if she chooses to attend a University instead.

 

I think that young lady will do well no matter what she decides. Being that age, intelligent, and the whole world in front of you.

My cats like to catch frogs for some reason. Meh, guess they're a challenging target, and slightly less slipery than fish.
