I am fairly new at computers & do ok untill something new happens. I have a hp pavilion slimline from last year. I have been using the camera card & other part of the HP photo & Kodak with out any problms. Than about a week ago this program popped up called Cyberlink DVD Suite deluxe. I did not install it & told my computer to block it & my firewall said it had but now everytime I want to do something with the photo stuff a blue window from cyberlink pops up & my programs dont work like they did before making it very difficult for me . When I click on my start buttom & go to all programs this is listed in there. How do I get rid of this so my camera stuff with the hp photo & Kodak once again will work like they did before this thing came to my computer. Please be very specific with step by step. Help. Thanks so much.

It must have been there all along. It probably came with the computer - so you paid for it. It's a relatively expensive program that does not just install itself. And it's excellent. And their support is the worst in the business.

Don't uninstall it but let it update. There must be other reasons why your HP Photo and Camera won't work. It's highly unlikely that there's any connection there.

Well, yes - actually there could be a connection. Change your firewall decision and update CyberLink. See what happens...

What firewall have you? Try this: open CyperLink. Just click it from it's entry in Start - > "All Programs". Then look in it's About or Help from the dropdown menu. You hould see an update option there. Click that and see...

Yes. Inside the program there must be a list for permissions for the firewall. Find CyberLinks entry and change the permission to Allow.

Oh, - there's a big "Online Update" bar inside CyberLink (Power) DVD that you just click.
