   i recently downloaded ccleaner for the read and run first, and noticed an icon for thumbs.db showed up on the desktop, (its done this on both computers i have put this on) what is it? and can i delete it?

   Yes you can. It is just a hidden preference file and will recreate itself. Do not show protected operating system files and it will not show anymore.
