When I run Cleaner in CCleaner (v. 3.09.1493) (64 bit) the most recently installed software on my computer appears in the list of recently opened applications/programmes in the Start Menu. You should, of course, be able to remove these items by right clicking them and selecting 'Remove from this list'. However, they will not go away. The only way I can get rid of them is when I restart the computer (running Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit v. 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1) and then right click them and select 'Remove from this list'. Why is CCleaner causing this issue? Is there a solution?
