Is it safe to delete these duplicate files? I seem to have quite a few.

What "duplicate files"? Please post the extensions you see on the duplicates because not all files should be deleted. You might have .dll that appear the same by name but are different versions.
Truthfully, I use a duplicate file finder just for pdf files. I used it once to find a locate what I thought might be a duplicate of a pdf.

These are the dupe files. It's the only way I could find to get them on here. Hope you can make some sense out of them.

    Replicator, no HD space problem.

    Thanks, guys

Sorry but I'm not going to read your list.
    I said
I did not ask for a list. I'm not remotely going to attempt to clean your computer.

Remove - at your own risk.
Me, I choose not to run CCleaner.

Just forget it. Sorry to have bothered you. Just a novice here trying to get a little help. I didn't really expect you to clean my computer.

Looks like all but one of the duplicates are within program files folders. Some apps create duplicates in different subdirectories - and if you remove duplicates, the apps may fail to work. The Microsoft Edge ones are recent, so that app is apparently in use. Some of the other duplicates are a few years old:

Do you use VMWare? If not, I suggest uninstalling.
Do you use Dell Backup and Recovery? If not, I suggest uninstalling. But I also highly recommend you make system (image) backup's. I use the free Macrium Reflect app.

One set of duplicates (Win Live Mail) are both on your desktop directory, but different subdirectories - one seemingly a backup of the other. And it's always good to have backup's of data files. But are you using Win Live Mail at all? If not, uninstall / delete.

Another way of looking at this: I wouldn't worry about application-generated duplicate files (versus duplicated data files due to my own bad housekeeping). Instead of fussing over these dupes, I would just ask myself if there are apps on my computer that I really don't use - and uninstall those. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for your help. I don't have VMWare. I do have Win Live Mail but stopped using because after many years of use, it suddenly wanted a different password and I was never able to resolve the issue. I'll probably do nothing as I really don't have any problems, lol. Just thought it weird that the dupes were there. I never ran the dupe file search on CCleaner for that matter until now.

Anyway, thanks again. You've been a big help.
