CCleaner is wiping my Folder View setup.

Something I have ticked on (checked) is destroying the way I view my Folders.
I like to VIEW all my Folders (except Control Panel ) as follows, from left to right:-
Name (of File), Size (of File), Type, Date Created, Date Modified and Comments
and spaced across the screen display accordingly.

For some time now I have been setting my VIEW as per above.
(Tools-->Folder Options-->View-->Apply to all Folders-->Yes--->OK <enter>)
then I run my housekeeping programs and my carefully setup columns
and my VIEW is now altered to Name, Size, Type and Date Modified.

All spacing, plus Date Created and Comments have vanished.

In a rare spark of brilliance (LOL ) I figured out it might be one of the various housekeeping programs that I use. (doh).

I tracked it down to CCleaner.
Clicking and running the Cleaner Tab, CCleaner wipes out my settings.

I have all the defaults checked (ticked on) except AutoComplete Form History and Empty Recycle Bin.

In other words, 23/25 of the defaults are ticked on.

Finally to get to the point of this thread.

Can someone advise me what default (that I have checked on) that might be causing this. Otherwise I am going to have to go through each of the 23, one by one, to find the culprit.

Sorry this is so long, but this might help others who are p*ssed of with their Folder Views altering.

You didn't select any of the "advanced options" did ye?

Yes, I had them all checked, as defaults.

In between posting the question and your answer, I found the solution was UNCHECKING Windows Size/Location cache in the Advanced tab.

Hallelujuah. Problem solved and one less annoyance dealt with.
No more moving / altering / re-setting Folder views.
