Ccleaner Portable 6?

I noticed all the new CCleaner versions are listed, but a portable one was missing.
Usually it's listed at the same time. Next day, still nothing. Curious what's up?
( I only use the portable version, right now 5.92 )

 

You may already know this, but just in case not: Here's the Ccleaner Portable download page - which downloads the app in .zip format. Webpage mentions installation - but no installation is needed. Just unzip to your designated directory and start using.

 

Thanks for the link, I didn't find that before. I usually get it from here on MajorGeeks.
However, it's still ccsetup592.zip, not 6.0 version. Wonder why? Piriform not offering it?

Weird thing is, PortableApps.com offers a v6.00.9727 but did they made it themselves?

 

Maybe so. They also make portable versions for LibreOffice - and the LO website provides link to PortableApps. This gives me confidence that PortableApps is reputable.

PortableApps.com do make their own versions even if the publishers have portable versions available.

Piriform sometimes release CCleaner portable 1-2 weeks after the regular editions.

 

Well, it's been more than 2 weeks now, and nothing.
Guess I'll use the PortableApps.com version from now on, plus it's auto updated.
