CCleaner Standard 3.24.1850

    I installed CCleaner Standard 3.24.1850 today and the installation downloaded and installed Google Chrome without asking if I wanted it or not has anyone else experienced this with the latest version of CCleaner?

    I always go for the Slim version

    Edit:
    Oops! You said Google Chrome, not the Toolbar. :-o

    Still, the Slim version should be "clean".

    Hello ljweser.

    I just checked the install routine for CCleaner Slim 3.23 and CCleaner Standard 3.24.
    The Slim version is indeed free of other installations.

    Here is a screen shot from version 3.24 Standard.
    You may have gone through it a bit too fast. ;)

    Did you uncheck the checkbox for Google Chrome on the installer panel?

    Or are you saying there was no checkbox for Google Chrome? Can you post a screenshot of that? (It means that it is a bug in the installer, which should be reported back to Piriform.)

    md2lgyk I can't follow the rules

    I just installed the latest CCleaner version yesterday. As part of the install process, I got the window mjnc posted. There's no bug in the installer.
