    Hello, and Happy New Year!

Anyone know anything about a CCM system, which I think is part of a MS system management package for networked computers? Since installing Sygate, this CCM keeps trying to send message out (Ccm.exec.exe) and Sygate blocks them. This CCM has its own directory under C:\WINDOWS\windows32\CCM with several layers of subfolders and files. Mostly dll, MOF, exe, and log file extensions, plus some I've not seen before.

My laptop is home use only, not neworked. But last year while deployed with the Army I took it along and had it configured by the Southwest Asia Army IT people to log into the local Army network. Our unit IT guy reconfigured my laptop when we got back, but I think this is a remnant - or am I wrong, and this is a needed MS application for normal ops?

If not needed, I want to uninstall it. but it doesn't show in add/remove under Control Panel, and I can't find any uninstall exe files in the directories. What is the best way to remove this whole CCM thing?

Any guidance and assistance would be appreciated -thanks! Bob
