ccna stuff ?

how good are ccna stuff of hotcerts.com ? . they have a good package going on , so i wondered if anyone used them . Please do let me know

 

It looks like a braindump site to me. Not worth it. The entire point of certifications is to provide proof of your own experience using relevant technology.

I have been studying for my CCNA for the past 5 months or so on and off. I currently own two 2500 series routers, and two 1900 series switches. When I get more money I will buy a 2950 switch and a 2600 series router.

Having said that, I really recommend setting up your own lab. My home lab consists of 3 computers plus a soho router, with a second NIC card from my main computer hooked into my cisco rack. The experience gained from configuring everything on the actual equipment is invaluable.

Off topic - you post just like someone named 'flappospammo' at a forum I visit. Any relation?

 

User x hit the nail on the head. May I also recommend a virtual lab. Basically it is software you install on your PC that emulates any model router or switch that Cisco has to include the latest IOS. The commands are identical and look just like a terminal window. The GUI portion lets you set up a mirad of different configurations whilst programming each device. You can opt for RIP or RIP II, OSPF or EIGRP. In the switches you can create virtual lans and make one the master to pass the VLAN info. The options are endless.
