I cannot seem to get the audio working on the DVR system at work. In the software I can hear people through the speakers, but it will not record them. I have made sure that the "Record Audio" checkbox is checked and still no go. Does anyone have any suggestions

Your post is in the "welcome center", but is being redirected to the software forum. Unfortunately, the title isn't displayed
in that forum, so it might not be getting seen by the best suited to answer your need here on CCTV.

I'm not a CCTV guru, but have some experience with system configurations in a generalized sense. Thus, I will try to help as best
I can, until someone with better expertise joins in.

The first word that comes to mind is compatibility. Has this system ever worked well before now? If so, were any changes made
just prior to the video stopping; i.e. changes in devices, cabling, software, or installation placement and distances?

If the system is a new setup, were the components acquired as a system package from one distributor? Or were the DVR and
Camera/Mic pickups separate acquisitions. Either way, carefully read over their specifications and setup instructions to make sure
the devices are compatible. Make sure you are using the correct cable between the pickup and DVR; e.g. HDMI, component, or
composite, etc. Look close at the modulation specs. What cabling are you using?

Provide us with make and model information for each device. What is the name of the software you are using and what platform are
you running it on? I hope this gives you a start for troubleshooting.

Thanks for responding to the post, but I have found out the issue. We are using the Geovision software where we are at. I talked to the people that sold us the card, and it is a compatibility issue with Windows 10. I had to back it back down to Windows 7 and it fixed the issue.

Glad to hear you found the fix. During the past year, I've seen numerous Win10 compatibility issues discussed in theses forums. But this is a
first time I ran across a problem on a CCTV application. Thanks for sharing the solution.
