CD Burner not working

    I just installed a new CD burner. It will play both CD and DVD without any problem. The burner came with a CD with CD burner software, but when I try to run it I get an error message. So I installed some freeware, and when I try to burn a CD I also get an error message. Any ideas what I can do? Thanks.

    It's probably the Drive, the burning functions probably stuffed, I've had the same issue before.

    You might also go to the burners website and update firmware if any is available. ed
