CD Burner Software Issue

Good Day All. This is prob a lame issue, however... after burning CD's I'm unable to play them in my vehicle cd player. The first CD I burned plays after a long delay. All CD's burned since will no play at all. Using Iomega Hot Burn and Windows Media Player.
Is there CD Burning Software and/or specific format I should use to allow it to work in vehicle cd player??? It's a 2000 Jeep Stock CD Player.

Windows Media Player might be the issue. Try something else.

There are others....might have to pay, or possibly download a trial.

I would check to see if your radio plays cd-r discs.
Do the cds work in other radios? make sure you are
burning a audio cd and not a mp3 cd. Could
always try a different burning software. Could give

Another thought, the CD-R media your using may not be compatible with an older player. Figure they created that car stereo about 5 years ago when CD burning was out there, but nothing like the past few years. That would be my first try.

Perhaps you should get a new CD player. OEM audio normally leaves a lot to be desired. Many new head units play MP3 and WMA in addition to CD+-R/RW discs.
