CD Burning

Hi there, I wanna get myself a CD burning program, I did use Nero on my last install (formatted since) and I was blown away with the amount of extras it has and to be quite honest its JUNK! - ok i don't wanna get a slating for that but to me Nero WAS a CD burning program, not media player, music player, wav editor etc. etc. etc......

I just want a program to back up my important files, and burn Data CD's and DVD's simple, not edit music, not edit videos etc.

I know I can stream line the program, but is that the best option, and if so what settings do I go for without suddenly finding another piece of **** program by nero pop up when I want to do something else...

Any recommendations?
