    Hi
I'm a new cd burner user. I have downloaded a few whole albums from WinMX and have found that they are too big to fit on my 80 minute cd's. Is there any way I can split the downloaded file to make it fit onto two cd's? When it plays in the media player you cannot skip from track to track, you can only advance the player by dragging the progress meter.
    Thanks

I did some research, and was going to give you alink to one, but there are soooo many free ones out there that are for different versions of windows!!

That being the case...what I did was...googled for "Free File splitting program" (minus the quotes) and then you can read through the different one to see which one suits you need as far as your operating system and whether or not you will want to rejoin them, etc.!!

Once you spilt them...be sure to use your burning software to burn each one as an audio file, so that your car or home sterio will be able to read and automatically play the cd!!
