CD drawer stuck or not opening

hey my CD drive drawer won't open. The drive light comes on, but the door never opens to eject (no disk is inside.) How can I get it unstuck without breaking it? The troubleshooter says the drive is working properly, and pushing 'eject this drive' in all the software doesn't do anything. I think it is a physical problem.
This is a HP pavilion a330n desktop, so the case has an outside 'pretty' door and the drive's actual door. It is not the outside 'pretty' door that is stuck. It is the actual drive door that won't open. Tab

 

Does the eject button on the front of the drive itself work????

There is a little pinhole on the front of the actual drive itself, that you can use to open it, if nothing else works. Just straighten out about half of your average sized paperclip, then stick in that pinhole, straight and gently, then once you feel it come to a stop, just give it a little push and it should pop the door out, and then you can pull it out with your hand. However...when you pull out or push in the drive tray manually, you are working against the gears and the motor, so do it easily!!!!
