CD/DVD Player

    I need help ? i used to be able to put a dvd into dvd rom and would come on automatically but i must have stuffed something up as now dvd wont come on automatically, i have top go type autorun into search bar to try and get dvd to play. Would appreciate some help to rectify my problem, im only new to computer world and probably something simple but i got no clue so would appreciate help to rectify my problem.
