cd Key code

I am trying to reinstall mircosoft word back onto my pc.
I was able to do that, however when I bring it up, I get prompted to fill
in my 25 digit cd key code
It reads on to say that I can find this code on the back of the cd jewel case
that I got with the purchase of this pc 4 YEARS AGO
My question is where can I find or get this code?

 

well if im correct it should be on the back of your jewel case lol. Are you tryin to say you dont have that case anymore?

Either one of MajorGeeks Forum member and developer Matt Chugg's freeware utilities should help you out here: Keyfinder Thing or Keyfinder Thing Lite

You could also use the freeware utility called Belarc Advisor which will build a detailed profile HTML report of your installed software and hardware and displays the results in your Web browser. The report will also contain any Microsoft software "product keys" as well.
