cd not found

Hi everyone!

Last time I visitied this time I got good advice and no I am back with one more problem I am having. When I am trying to run the Madden 07 game on the laptop, I get the following message: "The Madden NFL 07 game CD cannot be found. The game will now exit."
My laptop is brand new, has enough memory, a good video card and a dvd drive which is a requirement as the game is on a DVD.
I am running the same game on a desktop PC with no problem. The most significant difference between the two, that I see, is that the PC runs on XP while the laptop runs on Vista Home Premium.
I could not contact EA Sports, the maker of the game, for support, so I hope to find some answers here.
