Hi; Have an HP G72-866 notebook. Trying to write to a CD, but keep getting an error message that there is not a formatted CD in the drive (even though there is one). Sounds like a software issue. Any suggestions on a diagnostic that can figure out what's going on?
    Thanks,
    Kevin

I did just run an HP diagnostic, uninstalled the drive, deleted the registry entry that they advised, rebooted, and the drive still won't read a CD.
