Every time I try to put in a CD or DVD into my driver, it never launches. When I went to the device manager to see what the problem was, it told me "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" I tried to update the software, but it already said that it was updated. I'm currently using a Windows Vista Basic on Celeron M. Can someone help me please?

    Hi

What you could try is to open Device Manager and open the DVD/CDROM drives section and then on your DVD/CD Drive right click and choose uninstall, then reboot and Windows re-installs the driver again.

If that doesnt work then this in deleting the upper and lower filters can cure this http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=145532

I solved the problem by deleting the upper and lower filters, but now my laptop doesn't recognize my flash drive when I put this in! Help please.

    Hi

What type of flash drive is it, only asking as many call different removable devices different things, is it a media card as in Compact Flash, XD etc or a USB Pen drive?
