   Hi,
   
   So my cd-rom will open, but it won't play music or any other kind of cd. The light just blinks green and does nothing. I have an emachines T1100 if that helps...I know, a piece of crap! Thanks!

   When you look in "My Computer" do you see the drive?
   
   If so, then your going to probably need a new CD-ROM Drive.
