Cd-rw burning problems

Having major problems trying to get nero to work with my cd-rw. Anyone experianced difficulty before?

(Errors: could not perform endtrack, could not perform fixation)

Tried installing/ reinstalling drivers and updating the firmware to no luck.

 

ok, so you've tried updating all drivers that would be the first thing.
next thing, are you using nero 5, 5.5 or 6? are you going directly into nero burning rom or if you have 6 are you usuing start smart?
need to know this so we can give more help!
also, have you tried burning at a lower speed? what speed is your cd writer? if it's 48x, try burning at 32x, 24x or even 16x.

Check my thread a few pages back under Nero 5.5. burning problems by techiegirl2. It might be helpful as I am having similar difficulties.
Maybe some steps might be of assistance to yo.

 

also make sure the blank cds you are using are rated for the speed at which you are burning.

 

Tried burning at lower speeds... still causes the same problem
Nero 5.5.9.9 (going directly into nero burning rom).
Any more help would be greatly appriciated.
