CD writer won't work

Hello Geeks. hope you can help me with this one. I desperately need to burn a few music tracks onto a cd to provide to the registry office on wednesday for my wedding next month. (all the pieces that are to be played have to be on one disk).

However, when I try to do this, my pc is saying 'drive f:\ is inaccessible' or 'input a cd' when there is one in there already.

I'm at a loss to know how to sort this out, and as you can imagine, am a little desperate too.

Has anyone any idea what the problem is and how to fix it??

A suggestion in the meantime, copy them to a USB memory stick and burn them on someone else's PC. Bazza

Beware, if you have a combined CD Writer and DVD writer in one unit, then it will enable the CD writer but disable the DVD writer for some reason I haven't figured out yet. Bazza
