CDBurnerXP

I have Nero Express and i just downloaded CDBurnerXP how can you copy a dvd and then burn it to another blank dvd, i don't see that option on CDBurnerXP can someone explain on how to do that, or recommend another CD/DVD Burner, thank you.

 

CDBurnerXP doesn't have disc copy abilities... it won't do what's called a 1:1 copy. If you're copying data and have 2 DVD capable drives (like a DVDROM and a DVDRW), you can put the blank in the RW drive and the disc with data in the ROM drive. Then open CDBurnerXP and select the 'Burn a Data DVD' option. The choose the DVDROM drive as your source, and of course the RW drive is your target or destination. If burning something other than data, or for another way to copy a data DVD, you can use a free ISO tool like ISO Recorder, or Folder2ISO to create an ISO image of the disc you want to copy. The ISO is copied to your hard drive. Then burn the ISO using CDBurnerXP or Nero, or another app like the free ImgBurn or BurnAware. I'm pretty sure that CDBurnerXP will create ISO images also. Ok thanks, but for an all in one which is a good one, my nero express works good but takes to long.

 

Ok i downloaded BurnAware Free Edition, i put a copied dvd into my computer, so where do i go to write it and then put in a blank dvd to burn it to make another copy, it's not doing it for me.

 

I also just downloaded the try out Cheetah DVD Burner and it does everything and faster than the Nero Express i have, but one question on Cheetah it say's copy data CD (Copy data CD CD-R AND CD-RW) but it doesn't say copy DVD but when i put a dvd movie to copy, it does and then ejects and tells me to put a blank for burning.
