Cforms not showing submit button

WordPress site, cforms2 contact forms wont show submit button
any advice is appreciated

update on this issue, its not just cforms its all forms that have the issue, leading me to believe its a global style issue, but I cant find it
see contact page and test page both have no submit button and both are using different form plugins

On the test page, the submit button is called Search, pressing it successfully commences a search.

The contact page shows the Submit button and also works fine.
