This afternoon when I came online, my Sygate firewall asked if CFT loader could access the internet. I declined it as it has never asked me that before.
Doing a search on it, I find it is with using with Word products. (I think).

Is it ok to let it access? Oor don't I need it?

There was also some info on removing it, so I am not sure.

    I am running XPHome.

Thanks for the link. It is the same one I found when I did a search.
That is why I got confused. It tells me what cft does, but then tells me how I can remove it. So, I wasn't sure if I needed it or not?

Actually it does tell you how to remove it, but here is some steps, cut and pasted from the link:

I have also disabled the ctf loader as recently my updated zonealarm firewall informed me that it prevented it from recording my key strokes and mouse clicks. It was a tool I never use in Office or otherwise. Kind of a pain. :)
