CH Product Pedals Causing Error

Hello:wave ... I have the CH Products Virtual Pilot Pro and the CH Pedals that hook up into a game port. They are old products made in 1997. I decide to install an old Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 program ... I had no problems with the CH products when running the program in Win2000, but now I have XP Pro and when I try to calibrate the pedals I get a "game controller error - Your game controller is not connected correctly. Please verify that it is plugged into your computer" ... well of course it is. The Yoke plugs into the pedals and the pedal plugs into the game port. I looked on line and found what I believe to be the lasted driver for both. Installed it and still get's the same error when I try to calibrate the pedals.:cry Any one have any idea how I can get the pedals to work properly?:confused

 

Thanks I will give that a shot and let you know ... in the mean time I ordered this adapter from ebay do you think it will solve my problem? Thanks for posting.:wave

 

:wave I didn't see anything that indicated going back to W2K ... all I saw was using the device with an old program when I try to do the advance calibration. So it looks like a no go:cry

There is one thing I don't understand ... when I disconnect the pedals and just use the yoke I get no problems ... I can fly the planes, I don't understand why it sees the yoke and allows it to function ... but not the pedals ... anyone have any idea why?:confused
