To my understanding Chai means tea in India. So actually in the US we are saying I want some tea tea... :) Love it!! can't get enough of it... Good thing it is 3.00 a cup or I wouldn't be able to sleep at nights...

Well yeah I think most places just call it Chai.

I also think most places also serve it as a Chai Latte.

    So, do you like it?

    Its a treat.

I had a Chai Shake yesterday.

    It is the perfect treat.

    Unless its hot outside.

    Then its horrid.

Chai is best served blistering hot. If it doesn't take the first 3 layers of skin off your tongue, then its not hot enough! :D

I am thoroughly disgusted and frightened by the fact that Chai is available at Dunkin Donuts.

I'm thinking....Chai syrup, mixed with water. NOT good. I suppose I shouldn't judge without trying it, but...blech. I find it very difficult if not impossible to believe that Dunkin Donuts (or Borders, or Starbucks, or any other fast-food-type coffee/tea place) is actually brewing Chai. If they are, then cool...but I'm doubtful.

Borders Chai taste nothing like the packages.
