Chainz 2 relinked

Hi, I'm new here, hoping someone can help me out as I'm only a mini-geek!
I've got chainz2 installed on my dell pc and it works fine, however, I've also got it on my toshiba laptop - and on there it only works up to a certain level and crashes, sometimes to the extent of ending up with BSOD! I've updated active x, looked for driver downloads, but the Toshiba website tells me I've got all the latest drivers. I've installed Anticrash - this DOES sometimes intercept a crash, but you still lose the game you're currently playing.
This has got me round the twist - anyone got any ideas???
