Okay, last I posted here, I was looking for a way to move my old programs to my new computer. I've discovered several good devices and software you might use to do the job more simply than ever before.

    1. You're going to need a usb to usb bridge cable.
    2. You're probably going to want a "two computers one monitor, one keyboard, one mouse" cable, it's able to do a one button switch from one computer to the other.

Then there's software like Moveit, that can do the rest of the work of relocating programs, after you've moved your previous windows OS (the whole thing) over to a folder on your new computer (a simple drag and drop operation).

Don't get disturbed, remember, some programs use proprietary tricks, so they cannot be moved or changed, but many can be.
And some will require tweaking after they've been moved, but many won't.

You can find these items on ebay or by google search strings (without quotes):
    1. "USB to USB cable"
    2. "Two Monitors one computer"
    3. "Move programs"

    Hope this helps someone
    Enjoy
