Perhaps this is a hardware question, but I need a software solution.

Okay, as some of you may know, I recently went through a crisis which involved corrupt system files and now I'm left with an entired partition full of shortcuts to "C:\....." Well, the problem is that this partition now is known as G rather than C.

How do I change those drive letters?

    I'm running Windows 2000 now. :)

im not sure if it works on 2000, but for xp there is a M$ power toy called tweakui that will let you change it, also, if you go into control panel > performance and maininance> administrative tools, you should find disk manager, you can change it there
