changing from mcaffee to nod32 *HELP*

mcaffee is killing me here... it sucks, just in case anyone was wondering. and it doesn't want you to uninstall it. i can't figure out how to uninstall it properly. when i go into add/remove programs, i don't even happen a button that says "add/remove" for mcaffee, which is odd.. because most of the time, it is working properly. and i don't see an uninstaller inside the Network Associates/VirusScan folder in C:/Program Files/ .

Now.. I know there is a specific removal tool for Norton AntiVirus and everything Norton related.. is there one for McAffee also? because this is by far the most annoying AV program i've ever encountered.

I have the Nod32 installation file ready to go.. but I know from past experiences, and the nod32 installation warned me that, I should uninstall my current AV program before continuing on with the installation, otherwise i may encounter severe problems after installation.

So, what should i do? Is there a way I can properly remove McAffee from this pc and start using nod32, like I use on all my other PCs.

In the meantime, I'll do some more researching on my own, until someone intelligent passes by this thread. Thanks in advance.

 

also, it is McAffee Enterprise 8.0.0, that should help a little

i'm a little distraught.. it says that it could not detect any AV program on my pc.. what is going on :?

hehe.. i kind of solved this problem myself. THANKS ALOT. just kidding, i have having a slight problem with security center and nod32. security center says that my anti-virus definitions are out of date, meanwhile nod32 says everything is already up to date.
