Due to my wife spilling a cup of coffe on my zbnoard, i went out and purchased a g15.

I have uninstalled the zboard and uninstalled the drivers, but when i plug in the new G15 the keys will not work. Upon further inspection i keep getting 2x code12 errors in the keyboard section of the Device manager(Logitech says there are meant to be 2 devices in that section for the g15). The devices say that it is still a zboard and not the g15.

Everything alse on the g15 is functioning properly except for the keys :cry

Some help would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like windows hasn't unistalled it properly.
Delete the zboard and any other entries in device manager keyboard section. Reboot and see if the new keyboard is detected.

    Thanks for your reply.
I have Uninstalled all the drivers and removed any zboard or Ideazone entry i could find with still no success. I was thinking maybe a registry problem? Except my knowledge of changing/removing registry items is limited so i am being a little cautious before i wage war on my pc.

So does the Zboard entry in device manager show back up after you delete it and reboot?
If so, only thing I can think of (without any experience with the zboard or it's drivers) is some files left behind or registry entries like you mentioned.
So some other things I'd try -
Try and find any running processes in task manager from zboard.
See if it's still starting up in msconfig->startup.
Try to search for or locate any zboard files.
    Lastly tackle the registry.

    Good luck :)

Ok i got it fixed. The problem was in the registry. I downloaded and ran a different registry repair tool then the one i had and it seemed to do the job.

But strangely though, the drivers for the G15(when you look in device manager) are still zaying that they are Zboard drivers.......

    Anyway it works.

    Thanks for the assistance
