I have a HP 1200 All In One and use XP OS. The printer prints the first page first and I want to change it so the last page will print first.

Have any idea how to do this?

    Thanks

I'm not sure on the HP 1200 but on some of them there is a coalate option that may change the order of the print job so it comes out in the proper order instead of reverse order.

Thanks for the response but it didn't make a difference.

Printing preferences, under layout, look for print order and set it to "back to front".

My HP Printer (5550) has a setting under Layout that reads "start printing from last page".

Have a look around your layout tab options.

My printer has no settings like that - I thought maybe someone would know how to make this change in the registry or some other way.

Thanks for your time and trouble.

I just looked at 3 of the 5 HP printers in our house and they all have a layout tab, including our newest AIO.
1200 AIO threw me because that's a computer. Your printer is PSC1200AIO.
    1. Open notepad and type a sentence.
    2. Click on File in the notepad menu and select print.
    3. Click the Preferences button.
    4. Click the Layout tab and look closely at all the options. One of two will appear: back to front or start printing from last page.

Thanks but there is no layout tab for this printer

I guess I'll just stay with what I've got.

Thanks for taking the time to try to help me. My problem is not with Word - it is with Microsoft Works Word and there is no tab to take me to the place of reversing the order of pages.

I also have and use Micro. Word and have no problem with using it. I have tried getting to the Works site but there problems getting into that site at the present. I will continue to try.

Open Control Panel. Click on Printers and Faxes. Click on the default printer (shown with a checkmark at it). Click on Printer in the menu bar then on Properties. Click on Printing Preferences. Then click on the layout tab. Under Copies, you set your preference from back to front/starting from last page.
