Changing The Characters On A Page?

Good day, I made a resume using OpenOffice. And the words on the page seem to be larger than I want them to be, 1.) Is there a way to shrink the characters on the page down making them smaller and taking the resume from 3.5 pages to 3 , 2.) or is there a way to shrink it down as if I was looking at it as a photo, onto the same page. Thank you for your thoughts, is there a freeware program or app that can adjust this.

 

I forgot to mention that I was using OpenOffice v.4.1.2. i clicked on the link above when I right click I can not find Edit Paragraph Style. is there an easier way of doing this maybe by changing the files to a .doc file shrinking it down and then back to a .odt file, would this be simplier.

Top left, left of the font type/name, you see the word "default". That is what you change to Heading 1. Then click on the page icon left of that to open the Style Catalog window. You can drag the window to the right and it will embed right of the document, or you can just work with it as it is. The instructions say to click on Heading 1 and select modify. It's actually a right click to get the option. The tabbed choices menu should pop up...

PS if you want to embed the Style Catalog menu right, it may embed next to the normal properties menu and take up alot of space. Click on the header and drag it to the right, and it will then embed above the Properties menu sized equally to that menu. You can resize the window pulling up or down on the bottom of the window. Also, to close the menu, drag it off onto the document and it will separate. Then you will see the red x...
