Hey guys I saw my power supply had two power connectors that sadi "Fan Only" I tried them out instead of a real power connector and I have "TWO" 120mm fans and when I connected them to the "fan only" connector my computer was completely silent.I mean the fans were slower and it was nice and quiet instead of it blasting lol.

With the "fan only" connector my fan speed was

    800 for both of them

with a main power piece it goes to

    2000 each

Is it fine for my chassis fans to be 800 speed (very queit that way) or It should be at 2000? Im a big gamer so I should keep it connected to the a main power cord righ?

If you can, it would be best to hook them into your motherboard; it will adjust the speed as needed for sufficient cooling. If not, the PSU will just run them at max speed. You could always buy a fan controller and turn the fans down when idle and up when you're gaming. And no, a chassis fan at 800rpm will move VERY little air, id crank it up

I would Never connect any fans other than CPU fan to the MOBO fan headers. (Some CPU fans, aftermarket ones use to much power to connect to the MOBO, If this is the case get the juice from your PSU)
The amount of power that a MOBO can provide via MOBO Fan Headers is very Limited, Exceed this amount You will Fry the fan header and maybe the whole MOBO it's not worth the risk.

I don't Like using the PSU's dedicated fan connector (it's Thermally controlled) By the time the fan speed increases IMO the PC's temp is too high already, my Antec wont kick into high till 50C, I keep my PC's under 50c.

Never connect a thermally controlled fan to a PSU's Dedicated fan connector because it's Thermally controlled too. ( "LOL" Too wrongs dont make a right:p)

If you want to control fan speed get a Fan controller
It's OK to use the RPM monitoring leg of the fan header (the Yellow wire connects to it)
