Chat Programs Disabled At WORK any suggestions?

    My work recently shut down all chat programs, understandable since they probably dont want people sitting around chatting all day. but i need to connect with people on the outside.

    does anyone know of any programs that may allow you to chat secretly? i tried NekenCow and it wouldnt let me connect.

    If you do need to chat with people outside of work then talk with the it department at your work place and I am sure they would be happy to allow you to do it. That is if its actually needed.

    Most of will tell you its just asking for trouble since its an employers right... We are not saying that like were preaching at you, but because odds are, with a good IT guy, you will be caught at some point and probably lose your job. Im guessing they have a good IT guy where you work. There are some web based versions of AIM for example, not sure if they work or how your browser might be limited.
