Chat room programming help!!

i have a small website, just made it, and i would really like to put up a chat room and a members only message board forum, simular to this one, but i havent the slightest clue on how to program Java or html. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!

 

Just install something like PHPBB (VBulletin costs money and I don't think you want to pay money for just that) and for the chat program you can just register an IRC channel and use a JIRC application.

yeah but, i dont have the slightest idea on how to register an IRC channel and i am too young to have a credti card <16 yr old> so i cant pay for a thing... what now? i also downloaded a few programs that allow me to make and put chat rooms on my web site but when i try to launch the programs a window pops up saying something like "this program cannot be opened because the word document is underlined", what does that mean? arrrgghh

 

You don't have to buy them, this is all free...

Registering and IRC channel is free too, just find an IRC network do /query Chanserv and then do HELP and it should give you a list of commands and one of the should be registering

JIRC has a free version.
