Check Disk Problem

Windows XP Home . . .

When I boot up my machine, or restart my machine, right after the Windows XP logo, I get the screen as if it is going to do a check disk on my computer. Though it says that it cannot access or does not have access to the volume. Then my computer boots up as normal, and is totally opeerational. If I ask for it to do a check disk, I get the same error. BUT, I used Norton's System Works Disk Doctor, and it works, and tells me everything is fine. I also tried a system restore - that didn't help. I then booted up in the Recover Console from the CD and ran chkdsk /r. It said it found one or more errors and fixed them. I then Ran chkdsk /p, and that completed. But I STILL have the same problem with that screen.

I'm in the middle of doing a Repair on windows, thinking maybe it was a operating system problem. It's re-installing the files now, but after it copies and deletes files then asks to reboot, Upon reboot, I got that same screen. I will see what happens after the repair is done, but in the meantime, does anyone have any other suggestions on how to fix this?
