Check IP of someone?

Hello I was wondering if there was actual place to check on what a certain IP is to? Ive looked up on few things and tried them but nothing really. Kinda serious matter of this IP is doing and I just was seeing if I could find out who it was.

Yeah that was one the sites I tried. It just keeps coming back to Verizon Wireless. But I was tring to find the "actual user" of that IP. Guy keeps attempting to log into other accounts on another site and its same IP. And instead of tring to go through the forums over there and try to match IP to each acct I was just tring to find user Info online.

Yeah I tried that site as well. I tried many, and it gives same thing. Verizon Wireless company in Ohio.

 

The problem is the IPs are assigned dynamically and the records of who had it when will be held by Verizon under the data protection act. You may as well write to them giving the offence, date, time, and IP as they are the only people who can do anything about it without a court order/police investigation. Sorry.

 

Yeah the things already been sent into security over there. They just dont give the name of who it was. And I was just tring to find out who it was exactly. Because this person has to be on there messenger cause he knows all there email to sign in with. So its someone we know tring to do bad. But I ll just let it go and let him be punished there own way. Look to the right on the page, where it says, IP Information Just type it into there, then GO. You should find out lots
