Every boot, the computer does an NVRam check. From looking at different searches, most seem to have an AMI Bios. The MB is a Soyo 880 rev 2. Running 720 Watt PS, ATI 1600 Pro, Raptor HD's (RAID 1), other HD's on IDE and Sata, 3 gig DDR 400, two Sony Dual layer.

Bios is the most current,(AMI) and no others are offered, have changed out the battery, disabled all but boot drives, (RAID 1), changed out memory sticks. Finally out of frustration, I swaped in a brand new back up 880 MB, and booted up the system and got the same "Checking NVRAM". Cleared the CMOS, pulled the battery, cards, memory, let the system set for 24 hrs. Loaded two new Raptors, swaped in a new Vid card (9600 Pro). and got the same "Checking NVRAM". The only thing I haven't changed out is the cables and the case. The PS is only a month old. Via is updated to latest version for XP pro. I have no idea what to look for. I did change out the SATA cables for the boot drives, and all the IDE cables were unpluged from the MB. Has any one got any ideas as to what I might be overlooking?

The processor is an Athalon XP 3200, also swaped in an Athalon XP 3000, the 3200 I believe is locked, so it has not been over clocked.
