Checkpoint Scheduler problem

Hi,

I'm looking for guidance with Checkpoint Scheduler as every time I start up I get a window popping up on the desktop telling me that 'Task Scheduler did not run'.

I am not sure what is causing this or how to rectify it. Task Scheduler is a part of Windows XP is it not?

Yes, it is. Running chkdsk and repair would be my first choise:

And of cause extra anti-malware scannings...

Hi

Has the Task Scheduler worked int he past or is this first time using it for a scheduled task?

Click Start > Run and type/Paste SchedLgU.txt and hit enter, if a text files shows, se if it shows any errors or attach here with these instructions HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post looking for issues with account info if your running multiple accounts as the task maybe listed against the admin account that installed the app.

Does this PC have a password set at logon? as you may need to adjust the settings to account for user and password http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308569

If above doesnt work may need to set one or you can set the account to autologon with Powertoys for XP and get the TweakUI component installed and when open the Autologon setting is in the Logon ~ Autologon menu.

Or line 67: Run Scheduled Tasks w/o PW Home @ Kellys Korner if using XP HOME.
