Chilean Miner caught by wife and girlfriend to be rescue #21

Here is the story from Sept 2 on how Yanni's wife met his mistress at the vigil site. Today on the radio, I heard that Yanni will be rescue #21. I wonder if the wife and mistress will again be there.

The rescue is great news, and I do not mean to despair the effort underway.

 

That rescue is amazing!

I was surprised to see how clean shaven the miners were. Apparantly they got themselves all spiffed up for the cameras, not what I was expecting to see at all.

 

Can you imagine what they would look and smell like if they didn't do all that? It's just a point of sanity I think, the Chilean gov. has done an excellent job of supplying them with the basic necessities while they were buried. I'm sure they felt a lot better too with a shave and a probable sponge bath. Wouldn't you after living through all that horror and stench, to feel just bit more normal and alive?

As to the mistress, who cares except for his family?! #20 just came up!:celebrateIt's a beautiful thing to watch. Time for the mining rules to change there and everywhere else in the world! I just loved the #2 guy handing out the rocks!roflmao

 

Not quite sure what the "true" story is about the miner and his "mistress".

I heard that he had separated from his wife some years ago, and the "other woman" was his new girlfriend. That puts a different spin on the news story.
