China, what to do with them?

Hello All,

I have been working on an IDS for my medium sized business network, anyway I set up a server and have been working on it for 2 days now. Over the last few hours nearly 39 SSH connection attempts have come in from 6 different IP addresses from China (trying to connect with admin, root, administrator, etc. No matter where I go I always get these obvious connection attempts or port scans from Chinese IPs. Has anyone ever done anything about this, other than ignore it or add their range to a black list?
