What does it mean when my computer occasionally makes low chirping sounds?

Nothing bad seems to be happening in my computer, but the sounds do bother me and I'd like to get rid of them if possible.

Thanks in advance for your help.

It could be fan bearings on the verge of failure. Turn your machine off from the back and spin each fan by hand to see if one binds and replace it. If it's really loud, it may be your power supply fan at which point I would replace the power supply. Maybe have a listen to your system fans with an empty paper towel tube for noise that isn't heard when the case side is on..
